WCIX uses multiple carriers to get the lowest cost OC-3 local loop as well. WCIX provides great service, with complete SLAs, from the top OC3 providers. Note that OC3 Business Internet Access lines start at $4,000 per month for a full 155 mbps port; burstable OC3 pricing is lower.
OC3 prices increase based on the distance to your business and other factors. The OC3 local loop will play an important part in determining the total cost.

| Performance |
OC3 Business Internet accesses the Internet at speeds up to 155 mbps
OC-3 circuits are provisioned on SONET rings. In general, OC3 circuits have higher performance, lower latency, and increased reliability versus metropolitan ethernet or long-haul waves.
WCIX offers 'Tier 1', blended 'Tier 2' bandwidth, and low-cost bandwidth based on availability. The perceived benefit of a Tier 1 provider is its backbone. A Tier 1 provider takes you from the West Coast to the East Coast in one big hop, with lower latency than other providers. Additionally, Tier 1 providers have better peering and routing, resulting in faster delivery of your traffic.
A 'Tier 1' Provider's service is usually more costly then what a 'Tier 2' or low-cost Provider may charge, because the Tier 1 provider offers a very extensive network, reliability and quality service. However, if there is a major problem on that service providers network, your service will be negatively impacted
Blended 'Tier 2' bandwidth, available in some locations, is multi-homed bandwidth to multiple 'Tier 1' and 'Tier 2' service providers. The benefit is that if there is a problem with one provider, WCIX simply stops using that provider and routes around them.
Using bandwidth from low-cost providers MAY result in reduced performance (higher latency, higher packet loss, more outages) However, many companies feel that their connectivity is not mission critical and are seeking a low cost solution

| Security |
| As your network will be connected to the Internet, your company should have a firewall. If your company is transmitting sensitive data (such as financial or health records) then you should encrypt the data before sending the data over the Internet. |
| Configuration |
| The local LEC will provide all cabling and connections. WCIX will program your router if requested. |
| Installation |
| WCIX can assist you with acquiring hardware should you so desire. Please allow 60+ days for installation. Note that your building must have fiber in the existing telco closet, or in the street adjacent to your building |
| Monitoring |
| WCIX does provide monitoring of business of business OC3 Internet connection. Monitoring is provided from two different 'off-net' locations. |
| Terms and Conditions |
| There is a minimum 1 year term for business Internet access. Automated deductions, direct payment deposit, or automated ACH / wire transfers are required. |
