DS3 Business Connectivity is for:
  • businesses connecting to other businesses;
  • circuits between corporate and/or division offices;
  • Part of a large frame relay system ;
  • Small- and medium-sized ISPs or ASPs that are expanding their network;

    Availability
    WCIX offers DS3 point-to-point transport circuits in the continental United States.
    Performance
    DS3 point-to-point circuits allow your business to business applications to perform at speeds up to 45 mbps
    Security
    These DS3 circuits are point to point -- the analogy is that it is string between two cans, where your branch offices are the cans. Data flowing between the two offices is goign directly from one 'can' to the other. However, as your data is traversing the public telephone network (PTSN) all sensitive data should be encrypted. These circuits are totally separate from the Internet. If your company is transmitting sensitive data (such as financial or health records) then you should encrypt the DS3 line.     Configuration
    The local LEC will provide all cabling and connections. WCIX will NOT program your router for this application
    Installation
    No hardware is provided. Please allow 45 to 60 days for installation
    Monitoring
    WCIX does NOT provide monitoring of business to business DS-3 circuits.
    Terms and Conditions
    There is a minimum 3 year term for business to business DS3 circuits. Automated deductions, direct payment deposit, or automated ACH / wire transfers are required.
