| Performance |
OC12 point-to-point connections allow your business to business applications to perform at speeds up to 655 mbps
OC12 circuits are provisioned on SONET rings. In general, OC12 circuits have higher performance, lower latency, and increased reliability versus metropolitan ethernet or long-haul wave circuits. |
| Security |
| These OC-12 circuits are point to point lines -- the analogy is that it is string between two cans, where your offices are the cans. Data flowing between the two offices is going directly from one 'can' to the other. However, as your data is traversing over public fiber systems all sensitive data should be encrypted. These circuits are totally separate from the Internet. If your company is transmitting sensitive data (such as financial or health records) then you should encrypt the data before sending the data over the circuit. |

| The local LEC will provide all cabling and connections. WCIX will NOT program your router for this application |
| Installation |
| No hardware is provided. Please allow 60+ days for installation. Note that your building must have fiber in the existing telco closet, or in the street adjacent to your building |
| Monitoring |
| WCIX does NOT provide monitoring of business to business OC-12 circuits. Monitoring is provided by a third party. |
| Terms and Conditions |
| There is a minimum 3 year term for business to business OC12 circuits. |
