| T1 Business Connectivity is for |
offices needing minimal data transfer rates -- up to 1.54 mbps
small businesses connecting to other businesses;
circuits between branch offices;
VLAN connections to other businesses that are already on an ethernet connection;
low speed lines to off-site databases or web servers .

offices needing low data transfer rates -- up to 45 mbps
businesses connecting to other businesses;
circuits between corporate and/or division offices;
or part of a large frame relay system

| Ethernet Business Connectivity is for |
businesses connecting to other businesses at LAN speeds in the same metro area;
businesses connecting to multiple businesses at near-LAN speeds in the same metro area;
Circuits between branch offices in the same metro area;
Small- and medium-sized ISPs or ASPs that are expanding their metro network;
High-speed connections to off-site data in the same metro area.
Note that point to point ethernet circuits start at $1,000 per month;
and that point to multi-point ethernet circuits start at $1,500 per month. Prices increase based on the number of offices that will be connected, circuit speed, and contract term. businesses connecting to other businesses;
