With WCIX.Net how secure are you?
An effective backup and disaster recovery program must protect against physical and logical data disruption, and WCIX.Net does both. Our comprehensive approach to protecting your data has been developed and refined through millions of backups and thousands of restores since 2000. WCIX.Net is not a reseller and does not rely on a third-party to operate its vaults. Because we never relinquish control of your data to an outside vendor, there is no middleman limiting access, lessening security, and adding cost to the service we provide.

Facilities
The WCIX.Net facilities are protected behind a physical firewall and guarded 24 hours a day, seven days a week with on-site personnel and video surveillance. Vault access is further restricted to only designated personnel and protected with an additional security layer. The facilities are equipped with redundant air conditioning and emergency power systems, advanced fire protection and suppression, humidity and water detection, redundant power access, and monitored intrusion protection.

To protect data from physical disruptions such as hardware failure, WCIX.Net uses established industry practices of layers of replicated servers and fail over technologies. Since the data is automatically transferred off site, the WCIX.Net service protects against all physical disruptions caused by catastrophic events at the client site.

Redundant Physical Locations
The data is maintained in both a primary data center and a secondary remote data center. The added safeguard of backing up to 2 separate facilities ensures the data is safe in the unlikely event that a backup facility is affected by an emergency. The primary data center is a Tier-1 World-Class data center located in San Jose, GA. The data back-up facility is located in Norcross, GA in a Class A building.
